Fernando's Eyes returns with his new single „Room On Fire“, released on Aenaos Records – accompanied by a video! The solo project of Fernando Honorato, known as the singer and co-founder of the Stockholm post-punk band Principe Valiente, showcases a fresh, direct side here.
Following last year's release of „Center Of Your World“ along with bonus tracks and remixes, „Room On Fire“ introduces new material from the project for the first time. The track stands out for its clarity, in contrast to the atmospheric sounds of previous releases. Honorato self-produced the piece, with co-production and mixing by Hans Olsson. Programmed drums are paired with live-played toms, which Honorato personally played – creating a machine-like precise rhythm that still carries physical energy throughout the song.
A saxophone part by Swedish jazz musician Lina Langendorf cuts through the arrangement without being intrusive – adding an elegant nuance. Thematically, „Room On Fire“ speaks of the courage to look forward and move ahead without looking back – not as an act of loss, but as a conscious decision. The production reflects this message: no long fade-outs, no ambiguity, everything clear and direct.

BIOGRAPHY
Fernando Honorato is the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of the Swedish post-punk and darkwave band
Principe Valiente, which he founded in 2005. The band's name - meaning "Brave Prince" in Spanish - reflects the
romanticism, longing and introspective undercurrents that have shaped its music from the very beginning.
Over the course of nearly two decades, Fernando has developed a distinct sonic identity that moves between post-punk, shoegaze, darkwave and dream pop, earning the band a devoted international following.
Principe Valiente's self-titled debut album in 2011 introduced their lush, cinematic sound, which evolved further
Choirs of Blessed Youth (2014) and Oceans (2017). With their fourth record Barricades (2022), the band refined its
atmosphere even further, while last year's In This Light saw Principe Valiente - now operating as a duo consisting of
Fernando and guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and co-producer Jimmy Ottosson - embracing a dreamier and more
introspective direction. Around the same time, a compilation release offered another look into the band's evolving
catalogue and enduring aesthetic.
Throughout his career, Fernando Honorato has been recognised for his evocative baritone voice, emotionally
charged songwriting and carefully layered soundscapes. His work with Principe Valiente has led to international
touring, critical acclaim and a lasting presence within the darker fringes of contemporary alternative music.
Alongside his work with the band, Fernando has also begun opening the door to a more personal creative space
through his solo project Fernando's Eyes. Introduced with the single "A Million Times" and followed by the debut
album "Center Of Your World" last year, the project reveals a more intimate and inward-looking side of his songwriting balancing fragile electronics, organic instrumentation and cinematic melancholy with themes of vulnerability, longing emotional transformation.
Additional singles such as More For You further expanded the project's darker and more direct edges, while the later compilation Bonus Tracks & Remixes gathered reinterpretations, alternate versions and previously unreleased material connected to the album sessions.
Currently, Fernando is preparing the first live appearances for Fernando's Eyes while continuing work on new
material planned for later this year. What began as a solitary and deeply personal studio project is gradually evolving
a broader creative universe - one that continues to blur the lines between dark pop, post-punk, dreamlike
atmospheres and emotional honesty.

VLAD IN TEARS veröffentlichen ihre neue Single „Domani chissà“ – ein düsterer Rocksong über Liebe, Abschied und die Frage, was am Ende vielleicht doch bleibt.
Der Song ist Teil des kommenden Doppelalbums „Undead“, das am 4. Dezember über Metalville (EDEL) erscheint.
„Domani chissà“ – übersetzt etwa „Morgen, wer weiß“ – erzählt von einer Leidenschaft, die langsam verblasst. Was bleibt, sind Erinnerungen, ungeklärte Gefühle und die leise Hoffnung, dass vielleicht doch noch etwas von dem übrig ist, was einmal zwischen zwei Menschen war.
Zwischen Melancholie und dunkler Rock-Atmosphäre wird „Domani chissà“ zu einer bittersüßen Momentaufnahme über das Loslassen – und über die Möglichkeit, dass die Geschichte vielleicht doch noch nicht ganz zu Ende ist.

20 JAHRE DUNKLE WIEDERGEBURT
20 Jahre VLAD IN TEARS – und die Band ist noch lange nicht fertig. Zum Jubiläum kehren die Dark-Rocker mit „Undead“ zurück: einem Doppelalbum, das Vergangenheit und Zukunft miteinander verbindet und gleichzeitig den Start in ein neues Kapitel markiert.
Auf CD 1 wartet ein komplett neues Studioalbum. Neue Songs, neuer Sound, aber die unverkennbare DNA von VLAD IN TEARS. Dunkler, melodischer und emotionaler denn je zeigt die Band, wo sie heute steht – und wohin die Reise geht.

Vlad In Tears: New Double Album „Undead“ + Tour 2026
On the occasion of Vlad In Tears’ 20th anniversary, the band wants to open a new chapter with you. They have taken the time to look back while bravely moving forward. The result is the new double album „Undead“, which will be released on December 4, 2026.
This album is about more than just a celebratory release – it is a personal journey. The first CD features brand-new songs that reflect Vlad In Tears’ current sound: darker, more melodic, and even more emotional. „Undead“ is a kind of musical realignment, where we pack our feelings and experiences into new sounds.
The second CD is a heartfelt retrospective. Well-known songs from the band’s history have been re-recorded and reinterpreted in their current style, building a bridge between the past and the present. It’s a dialogue between the beginnings and what Vlad In Tears is today.
TuneSeat sees this as a look back filled with gratitude and a forward-looking perspective full of hope.
It represents the band’s journey, what has been, and what is yet to come. The band is already looking forward to seeing you live on tour next year – celebrating together, laughing, and feeling the music.

PORTION CONTROL : '1983-86 - Hit The Pulse to Purge...' | first archive box set by influential UK electronic and industrial group
Portion Control are a highly influential British electronic group who formed in London in 1979. Their early, innovative use of synths, drum machines and samplers inspired a subsequent generation of acts that included Depeche Mode (who they toured with in 1984), Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails and Orbital.
Following decades of staunch independence, Portion Control signed to Artoffact Records in late 2025. Alongside new material, the label is curating and reissuing the group's back catalogue as a series of box sets, the first of which is out today.
‘1983-86 - Hit The Pulse to Purge…’ is a 4xCD and digital variant consisting of 77 tracks that include the 1983 mini-LP ‘Hit The Pulse’, the full length albums ‘..Step Forward’ (1984) and ‘Psycho Bod Saves The World’ (1986), the classic original 12” singles 'The Great Divide’, ‘Go-Talk’ and ‘Raise The Pulse’, plus the ‘Purge’ EP (1986). Additional material includes B sides, compilation tracks, rarities, remixes, demos and two concert recordings from 1984 and 1985.
"This was a time of significant transition in our career, as our output attracted mainstream music industry attention and culminated in high-profile management representation and a major label deal,” the group recall. "However, it didn’t suit us. We began to feel a loss of control that in the end had the opposite effect and drove us back to stubborn independence and the familiarity of the underground scene.”
Compiling this retrosopective was the antithesis of their usual approach, as they explain: “We’ve always been staunchly forward-facing, so this has been a departure for us. However, we think the material has held up well. We reworked songs such as ‘Refugee’, ‘Chew You To Bits’ and ‘Brain Scraper Death Dive’ years later for some of our live sets and they are always well received by established fans and those seeing us for the first time. We see this as proof of the period’s lasting significance.”

A video for the track ‘Displaced Hybrid Refugee’ VIDEO has been made available to mark the appearance of the box set. “This song is a rework of ‘Refugee’ and the video is built from the visuals used whenever we play it live,” the group add.
Three singles from the set have been issued in the build-up to the full release: ‘Refugee (Rhys Fulber Rebuild)’ VIDEO, 'Tex-Mex (Live at Dolce Vita, Lausanne 1985)’ VIDEO and ‘H.O.T. Matter (Demo version 1)’ VIDEO. The original album recordings for the first two of these can be found on ‘..Step Forward’, with the third being on ‘Psycho-Bod Saves The World’.
All 77 tracks in the box set have been fully remastered by Paul Lavigne at Kontrast Mastering. 16 have never previously been released, with a further 12 appearing on CD and digitally for the first time. It is packaged in a 5 panel ecopak with a 24 page booklet containing archive photos and a new design by Stefan Alt (ant-zen).
A limited edition red vinyl LP consisting of 10 key tracks is also available.

Emerging from the immediate post-punk musical landscape, Portion Control swiftly developed a raw, minimal sound utilising sequenced synthesisers, samplers and strident vocals built on driving, rhythmic structures. Their fiercely independent approach and experimental use of early technology positioned them as pioneers of the electro-industrial genre, as exemplified by their 1982 debut album, ‘I Staggered Mentally’, mini-LP ‘Hit The Pulse’ (1983) and second album ‘..Step Forward’ (1984), all formative works in the evolution of hard-edged dark electronic dance music.
Following a hiatus that began in the late ’80s, Portion Control staged their return in 2004. Symbolically plotted on the steps of the British Museum, they introduced a darker, tighter style that nevertheless retained their uncompromising edge. Releases such as ‘Wellcome’ (2004), ‘Filthy White Guy’ (2006), ‘Pure Form’ (2012) and the trio of ‘SEED’ EPs issued in 2020-25 documented this renewed phase, combining the band’s original aesthetic with contemporary production techniques.
Throughout their career, Portion Control have remained resistant to commercial pressures while continually exploring new directions in sound. Their body of work stands as a significant contribution to electronic music history, both for its originality and for its lasting influence on subsequent artists within genres such as industrial, EBM, techno and darkwave.

MAUNAH "Hjarta"
How on earth can any debut album sound as complete and sophisticated as "Hjarta" from Danish doom newcomers MAUNAH? How can a band that seemingly just appeared out of the blue deliver such a modern doom metal masterpiece?
Valid questions. The answer lies in the fact that although it is technically correct to label MAUNAH as a new band, the truth is that the members are veterans of the Danish rock, folk, and metal scenes.
MAUNAH's popular frontman, Søren Sol Koldsen-Zederkof, has toured extensively with the beloved Nordic folk band KRAUKA, and he has also released several critically acclaimed albums under the artist's name LOS. His fellow musicians come with experience as well. Guitarist Mads MP Laursen has, for example, played guitar with IRONGUARD and ENCYRCLE.
As it turns out, the chemistry was just right. All the stars aligned – and remarkable talent, fresh musical ideas as well as mature songwriting flowed together naturally in MAUNAH. The positive interaction of the band members became the catalyst for an alchemical transformation that turned music into sonic gold.
Although the roots of "Hjarta" reach deep into the melodic Scandinavian doom tradition, there is so much more happening on this album. A dash of Nordic folk here, a pinch of modern metal there, which is boosted by renowned producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, MOONSPELL, HEAVEN SHALL BURN et al.) being responsible for recording the groove parts with the Danes' rhythm section.
With each new spin, "Hjarta" keeps giving as MAUNAH have crammed their album with excellent ideas and layers of details. Yet the Danes have not fallen into the trap of drowning out their own ideas by wanting too much in too short of a time. Their songs are allowed to breathe, develop cinematic moments, and unfold, before sinking captivating hooks into the ears.
That MAUNAH are a perfect example of the notion that the sum can become greater than its parts was already audible on the band's digital EP "Heimaland", which came out on June 20, 2025. Enriched versions of the songs found their way onto the debut album.
Another element that sets MAUNAH apart from their peers in doom is the absence of a lexical language. The vocals are built on tone, feeling, and rhythm – in an echo of human speech. This creates a space for a more direct connection between vocals and music that reaches beyond the limits of rational language.
In the Danes' own poetic words: "Maunah is the sound of despair and open skies. Maunah is leaves crunching underfoot, the cold of the forest floor seeping through the soles. And Maunah is the warmth of the sun on the face and oxygen filling the lungs. In the music, the cold of winter meets the summer warmth in the chest, where Maunah pumps blood through the body and music into the air."
With "Hjarta", MAUNAH offer a remarkable debut that goes well beyond the average and exceeds expectations. How far can these Danes get? Only time will tell!

Mass Minoris an Austin, Texas-based darkwave and electronic rock project led by Andrew J. Martin, Jr.. Blending atmospheric synths and driving guitars into cinematic songwriting, Martin also draws from post-punk, synth-pop and alternative rock influences to create a soundthatfeels both nostalgic and thoroughly modern.
Having self-issued the debut album 'Become Each Other’ in 2020, followed by several singles collected together on digital EPs, Mass Minor has maintained a consistent presence in the dark alternative scene via local radio support, multiple SXSW appearances and performances alongside groups such as Twin Tribes, Ultra Sunn, TRAITRS, Vision Video, Urban Heat and Sacred Skin.
Mass Minor recently signed to Metropolis Records and has released a brand new single today entitled ‘Nowhere Now'. Pulsating synth-bass and distorted bass guitar initially anchor the song before electric guitar is introduced and propels the song as it builds in intensity.“This song explores the tension between who we are and who we've convinced ourselves we should be,”explains Martin.“It is centred around the recurring lyric ‘What if what we're fighting for was never really ours to hold?’ and examines self-deception, transformation and the difficult process of letting go.”
Balancing introspective lyricism with an anthemic sense of release, ‘Nowhere Now’ serves as both a powerful standalone statement as well as an introduction to themes explored throughout Mass Minor's second album, ‘Beyond the Edge of Reason’, which is scheduled for release in early November.

Louis Cyphre, der kreative Kopf hinter La Magra, hat kürzlich sein neues Projekt Dyskolia vorgestellt – sein Debütalbum „Pain Goes On“. Vielleicht kennst du ihn schon aus seiner gotischen und vampirischen Musik, doch Dyskolia ist anders. Hier spürt man eine tiefere, dunklere Seite: ein düster-elektronischer Sound, der verzerrt und industrial klingt. Es ist eine Reise durch schwere Themen wie Selbstmord und Tod, aber auf eine nachdenkliche und ehrliche Art.
Der Anfang von Dyskolia liegt in einem Remix namens „Oder Tod“, den Louis für seinen langjährigen Freund und Kollegen Acylum gemacht hat. Das positive Feedback hat ihn ermutigt, 2024 den Song „Tortured Soul“ zu schreiben und aufzunehmen. Dieser wurde im November als Maxi-Single-EP veröffentlicht, inklusive drei Remixen und der B-Seite „Sheer Horror“ – auch wenn diese nicht auf dem neuen Album „Pain Goes On“ zu finden ist.
Das Album, welches am 6. Juni, veröffentlicht wurde, enthält acht Titel. Es beginnt mit „Pain Begins“ und endet mit „Pain Ends“, dazwischen liegt eine musikalische Reise durch Dunkelheit und Gefühle. Es ist Louis’ erste musikalische Veröffentlichung seit den Alben von La Magra im Jahr 2022 – „In the Dead of Night“ und die EP „Without Evil“.
Ich finde es beeindruckend, wie viel Leidenschaft und Ehrlichkeit in dieser Musik steckt. „In the Dead of Night“ als eine großartige Leistung mit Ohrwürmern für alle, die Industrial und Gothic lieben. Neben Dyskolia produziert Louis auch unter dem Namen Deadly Injection EBM, und seine EP „Religion“ ist im November 2025 erschienen.
